Belated Australia Day!
Yesterday was Australia Day! I spent the day moving furniture from my old business office to my house after seeing a few clients in the morning. By the time we finished it was tea time and I forgot to post here. I now have a house of really beautiful timber furniture that was all a tax deduction.
But about Australia Day...better late than never...
What do I love about Australia? Well apart from football, meatpies, kangaroos and Aussie cars... (that will test your age lol!) I love the wide open spaces, the climate and I love the laid back attitude and irreverance we have here.
I heard someone on TV this week say Austalians were put on earth to teach everyone else not to take themselves so seriously...
I think they have a good point!
So take a break from stressing out today and enjoy these 2 fantastic videos clips from one of my favourite bands, Midnight Oil. They kind of sum up how I am feeling today. Watch them for the truly beautiful scenery of outback Australia and the great dancing of lead singer Peter Garrett, who is now environment minister in the new Labour Government.
Best Played: LOUD!
enjoy!
