Want to see where I live?
Well today is a public holiday for Australia Day and I have to say it's been a great weekend here. I spent yesterday lazing about watching the cricket, the Tour Down Under and last night the tennis. It has been very hot here so being inside, under the air conditioning is the best option.
I also spent time catching up with blogs and checking out the new Aussie Bloggers Forum. You don't have to be an Aussie to join so why not take a look around, it's a really great site and I have discovered some other really good blogs there. It is also Aussie Week in the US.
I thought I would leave the finance posts for today and share a video of one of my favourite parts of Australia: The Blue Mountains. I live near here. It really is a peaceful, beautiful place. I love to find a quite spot and meditate in the bush or go walking for a few hours. My daughter and I often spend a day here shopping. There are lots of little, cafes, antique stores, boutiques and art/ craft shops. It's one of the things I have missed over the last year or so while Dad was living with us. So I will be spending much more time in the Blue Mountains this year.
I found this video which captures most of my favourite places.

Stunning video. Just beautiful!
That is absolutely stunning.
You're right for forget about PF every now and again and focus.
Pictures of outstanding natural beauty really make you stop and think.
I'd love to visit Oz one day. So in a sense, it is indirectly PF related.
If you set and achieve your goals, there's nothing wrong with building in a once-in-a-lifetime trip abroad.
I'll write that down, and start working on that coming true!
I adore the Blue Mountains, it's one of my favourite places, especially Leura. I'm even thinking about retiring up there in the long term.
Friends have just bought a place in Springwood & I'll be heading up for a visit in mid Feb, I can't wait!
