Easter Break.

I have been having a few computer problems which hopefully are resolved now. My spending at the corner shop has crept up again. We have slipped back into the habit of calling in whenever we need something (or think we need it!) and then we end up spending more than we planned. I need to get back in the habit of fortnightly shopping ASAP!

I have two trips away over the next few days. The first to collect my son from uni for the break. We are also going away to a 21st party this weekend. We are not staying the night, just drive there, about 2 1/2 hours, and drive back. The cost of accommodation for a family on the Easter long weekend is just ridiculous!

I'm spending more time in the mornings exercising instead of reading blogs. I just have to keep working on getting my weight down. I go back to the doctors in a month and even though I've lost almost 6kgs since last time I want to lose more. It certainly is harder to shift the pounds once you're over 45!

I got some annoying news from work this week that they have decided to save some money and leave off filling the vacant position until the next financial year (after July). I'm not at all happy about it. My workload is already to high and I'm not willing to take on extra duties without extra pay. At the moment I am negotiating a change in my work conditions to try and reduce some of the stress.

I may not be around much over the next few days and the easter break.

And here I was congratulating you on your new job. It shows how much I've been away - I haven't been reading any blogs for the last week or so, have been too busy. Any who next years just around the corner. Congrats on the weight loss. I wish there was a secret to it, but it's just have have to put in the work to see the results
