I'm a Winner!

Guess my luck has changed! Andy's from Finance Viewpoint had a competition and I won! The prize is a Seeds of Wealth DVD sets valued at $79 all about investing in the share market. I am planning on investing in shares once I get on top of this debt so this is a great prize! I also have a lot of my superannuation in the Australian Share market.

Actually Andy has a great guest post from a friend who just bought a house in Sydney. By taking their time and doing their research they have got a good price. He explains exactly the process they went through in doing their research.

Yesterday I worked all day with the extra clients I took on. I really did enjoy it and I have $500 ready to pay off my tax bill when the bank opens tomorrow. I am very fortunate to have no shortage of work if I want it. My problem is more being able to do plenty of work and stay healthy. I don't want to burn out!

I am certainly feeling a bit better than I did a few days ago!
So I will make the tax payment deadline, and catch up with debt reduction next month. I have paid leave to go to a conference in July and it can't come soon enough!

I got the graphics back for my first information product last night and they look great! Part of me can't believe I am actually going to do this! I will be testing everything out over the next two weeks and then I'll be up and running!

Congratulations on your win! I read that article about buying in Sydney & found it very interesting too.

Glad to hear the extra work is helping towards the tax bill, will that be the last of it for now?

hi dd, I have now finished paying off last years tax bill, and this payment will have me up to date on the pre-paid tax for 07/08.

The next installment isn't due till end July and I will be able to pay that out of my tax rebate considering I'm paying income on an income about 3 X what I actually earn!

So this last payment+ the $900 I will pay from my next pay is basically the end of it thank goodness.

Thanks for the mention Louise. Glad to also see your fortunes improving. If it makes you feel any better I am getting hit with 2 tax bills - one in the US and one in Australia!

Good luck with your new ventures. You truly are becoming a web 2.0 honcho!
